HiddenArmor

Got a nice skin that your armor keeps hiding? With /togglearmor you flick a switch so other players no longer see your gear — instead of iron or netherite they see your clean skin. It's purely cosmetic: you still see your own armor on your body, it protects you exactly as before and you lose nothing, it just doesn't show to others. The toggle remembers its state, so if you log out and back in it stays the way you set it. Here /togglearmor is available to every player right away — nothing to request. The plugin runs on ProtocolLib, which tweaks how armor is displayed at the network-packet level, so it happens smoothly without touching the game itself. A little touch for looks — great for screenshots and scenes where you'd rather look like a character than a walking tin can.

How to use

  1. 1Put on armor as usual — nothing special needed.
  2. 2Type /togglearmor → other players now see your skin instead of your armor.
  3. 3You still see your own armor and it protects you exactly the same — it's purely visual.
  4. 4Want it shown again? Type /togglearmor once more — it's a toggle.

Good to know

Leather armor deliberately stays visible — others still see it even with hiding on (otherwise it causes powder-snow trouble). And an elytra is hidden only from others; you'll still see it on your own back.
