LPC
Gives our chat a face. Instead of a bare name, every message you send shows the colored prefix of your rank plus your name, so it's clear at a glance who's who. Under the hood it reads ranks from LuckPerms and formats them with MiniMessage. Beyond the nicer look it adds a few touches that make chatting pleasant: type another player's name in chat and they get a ping (a sound plus a note above their hotbar), so they notice you even mid-build; text shortcuts like , :star: or :check: turn into symbols on their own; and a link you paste becomes clickable. Anyone we give a higher rank to can also color their own messages with color tags. We've deliberately kept our chat calm and clean — the automatic filters and the join, quit and death announcements are all off, so it's purely about nice formatting.
How to use
- 1Nothing to do — just chat, and your rank and name show up on the message automatically.
- 2Want to get someone's attention? Put their name in your message → they get a ping (sound + note).
- 3Use the emoji shortcuts , :star:, :check:, :cross:, or :note: → they turn into symbols.
- 4Paste a link in chat → it becomes clickable, others open it with one click.
- 5Got a higher rank? Type [item] to show what you're holding, or color your message.
A ping works even without an @ — just having a player's full name in your message pings them. If you don't want to bother someone, don't spell their name out. And [item] and message coloring are tied to your rank, so not everyone has them by default.
