Quests
Adds goal-driven tasks to survival — with a proper reward at the end. Each quest has one or more objectives: mine some ore, slay a handful of mobs, catch fish, dig up a block or travel somewhere. Longer quests are split into stages you clear one after another, and once you finish them all the reward drops — money, items, experience and "quest points" that go on to unlock further, tougher quests. Here you take a quest straight from a command (no NPC-clicking needed): /quests list shows what's on offer, /quests take <quest> accepts it, and /quest shows what you still have left to do at any time. Pull up your own task journal with /quests journal and follow your progress and the leaderboard in /quests stats and /quests top. For now the plugin's bundled demo quests are live (Iron Miner, Mob Hunter, Catch Fish and Timed Quest) so you can try out how it all works — a proper Irminsul questline is still on the way.
How to use
- 1Type /quests list and browse which quests are on offer right now.
- 2Pick one and take it: /quests take <quest name> (some have a requirement — e.g. holding a stone pickaxe or having finished another quest).
- 3Work the objectives — mine, kill mobs, catch fish, dig; longer quests run stage by stage.
- 4Check what's left any time with /quest; pull up your task journal with /quests journal.
- 5On completion the reward is given automatically (money, items, XP, quest points); see your progress and the leaderboard in /quests stats and /quests top.
Don't mix up /quests (plural, alias /qs) — the offer and menu — with /quest (singular, alias /q), which shows the objectives of the quest you're on. And note: many quests can be repeated, but only after a cooldown (redo-delay), so you usually can't take one again right after finishing it.
