QuickShop
Turn an ordinary chest into a shop and kick off a real player-driven economy — no commands to learn, just clicking. Put goods in the chest, hold the same item and left-click (hit) the chest; the game asks for a price per item, which you type in chat. A sign showing the price and item appears above the shop on its own, and a preview of the item on sale floats over the chest, so you can see at a glance what's for sale where. Others then buy from you with a single click on the shop, even while you're offline — and when you restock the chest it keeps selling. A shop can also be set the other way, as a buying shop that purchases items from players and fills your chest for you. On our server you can base a shop not only on a chest but also on a trapped chest, a barrel or an ender chest. Every store is locked automatically, so nobody can steal from it or break it, and there's no limit on how many shops you can own. Each purchase pays a 5% tax into the server treasury — it's charged to the buyer and isn't shown in the prices. You manage your shops through a control panel opened by right-clicking the sign.
How to use
- 1Place a chest (or barrel, trapped chest, ender chest) and put the goods you want to sell inside.
- 2Hold the same item and left-click (hit) the chest.
- 3Type the price per item in chat → a sign with the price and a floating preview of the goods appears above the chest.
- 4Done — others buy from you by clicking the shop, even when you're offline. Restock the chest and it keeps selling.
- 5Want to buy from players instead? Right-click the sign to open the control panel and switch the shop to buy mode.
Don't carry off or try to break a chest that has a shop on it — the whole shop vanishes with it. And note: changing the price of a shop that's already running costs a small fee (50 here) to stop endless price undercutting — so decide on your price when you set it up.
