AppFlowy is your own Notion — pages, to-dos and little databases in one workspace, hosted here at home.

Everything is stored in your workspace on the server and syncs across devices. You build pages from blocks — text, a to-do list, a table, a kanban board — and nest them inside each other like folders. You can start from a ready template (journal, tasks, wiki) and gradually bend it to fit you.

Step by step

  1. Download AppFlowy (Windows, macOS or Linux).
  2. On first launch choose Self-hosted (Cloud Settings) and enter the server below.
  3. Sign up with the email I enabled — and you're set.
  1. Install the AppFlowy app.
  2. In settings enter the self-hosted server (below) and sign in.
  1. Open appflowy.irminsul.uk and sign in or sign up.
  2. You'll then see the same workspace on web and in the app.
